The Ballard track team participated in their season opener on Thursday, March 15, at the Nathan Hale Jamboree, competing against Roosevelt, Ingraham and Nathan Hale.

Despite the rainy and windy conditions, Ballard athletes broke five meet records. Senior Emma Suchland broke the 100 M and 200 M records by running a 12.3 and 25.4 respectively. Senior Alex Bowns broke the 800 M and 1600 M records by running a 2:00.5 and 4:30.5. And Junior Stuart Thomas broke the 300 M Hurdles record by running a 43.2 time.
