Teri Ensley, Furry Faces Foundation leader shared that she needs help with the annual plant sale this weekend with a variety of tasks. She writes:
"If you have some time to share on Saturday or Sunday, it would be greatly appreciated. The sale is both days from 10 am - 4pm. Tasks include:
1) cashiering
2) keeping the plant tables looking nice and watering if it gets hot
3) greeting people, handing them a box and telling them where they can find plants
4) carrying people plants around for them as the shop
5) loading plants into cars.

Despite the fire that ravaged her home in early January (a matter still unresolved with her insurance company) animal activist and Furry Faces Foundation leader Teri Ensley is focused on one of the organization's most important events of the year. The 12th Annual Furry Faces Plant Sale is set to take place at her home May 19 and 20 (and again June 2 and 3) at 3809 46th Ave. s.w. The sale will run from 10am to 4pm each day.
"We will have 1,500+ reasonably priced, healthy, nursery quality perennials, annuals and vegetables, including our now infamous tomato plants. The selection includes Ornamental Grasses; Spiderwort; Succulents; Dianthus, Lychnis, Herbs, Salvias, Semperviums, unique Coleus selection, Violas, Pansies, Petunias, Nicotiana, Rudbeckia, and more," said Ensley.

Different rescue groups will be onsite, providing you with the opportunity to meet dogs and cats that are looking to adopt a new human.
