West Seattle Blockwatch Captains' Network back from summer break; Meeting Sept. 25
Mon, 09/24/2012
WSBWCN press release
The monthly West Seattle Block Watch Captains’ Network meetings resume this coming Tuesday, 9/25, after our summer hiatus! It’s been 3 months since our last meeting so we want to hear from you, how did the summer go?
What issue is your Block Watch dealing with the most? Bicycle thefts, mail thefts, problem houses, gunshots, burglaries, other incidents? Are there broader patterns to what we are experiencing individually?
What questions do you have? What do you as a captain receive questions about? Frequently asked questions that we hear: What do I need to do to get my stolen items back? If I install a video camera, will the police use the footage as evidence? If I use the Online Reporting tool, does anyone use that information as evidence?
We will have more information and answers to some of these questions at the meeting. For others, we’ll track down the answers or invite the people who know the answers to attend our future meetings.
