Over the weekend, the Nordic Heritage Museum held it's annual Yulefest, the time of year where Scandinavians gather together in Ballard to celebrate the holidays. Whether it was food, music or all sorts of interesting trinkets, there was something for everyone.

If you were wondering, the word "yule" is used for the Christian Christmas in parts of Northern Europe (read, Scandinavia) and German-language speaking areas.
