The line for Gray Thursday deals at Target stretched around the corner and down past Chico's clothing store.
So called "Gray Thursday" the jump on Black Friday for super discounted prices brought about 215 people to the Target Store in Westwood Village on Thanksgiving night.
The crowd was well behaved and there were a number of Seattle Police cars in the parking lot keeping an eye on things. None of the other retailers in the shopping mall were opening for special sales.
The shoppers were there in line to get deals on large flat screen TV's and video game consoles and the mix of people in the crowd ranged from teens to older people all eager to save money.
Reader Sydnee Pardee added via Facebook that "I was in that line! And got what I wanted! Target was on point tonight fast and steady! ;)
I should add that i arrived at 8:45pm and was in the back of the line by the vitamin store BUT once the doors opened the line moved quick and I was home by 9:45pm! Fastest shopping trip to Target in YEARS!!"
