Craigslist: Not the best place to sell medical pot
A man trying to obtain “donations” for his medicinal marijuana decided to put out an advertisement on Craigslist. He was contacted by a man on July 26 who was interested in purchasing said pot, and they made plans to meet up at a store on the 2500 block of S.W. Trenton St. They met shortly after 8 p.m. in front of the store, but the buyer asked the seller if they could walk around to the back to complete the transaction. Behind the store was another young male associated with the buyer. They asked to see the weed, and one of them pulled out a handgun and pressed it to the seller’s chest, stating “Give me everything.” The victim handed over his drugs, $400 in cash, driver’s license and house keys before the suspects fled in a blue convertible. Able to memorize the license plate, the victim gave it to police and they tracked the vehicle to a home on 50th Ave. S.W. They went to the home, found the car and questioned the suspects but no arrests were made at that time (the actual suspect descriptions were very light on detail, according to the report). The victim was given a ride home by police.
Tuesday morning road rage
Around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23, a woman was driving southbound on Harbor Ave. S.W. looking for a parking spot when the driver behind her became annoyed with her behavior. Fed up, he illegally passed her but instead of driving away, he started slamming on his brakes in an attempt to force a collision. Instead of backing away from the situation, the woman decided to follow the man and started recording him with her cell phone camera. The warring parties found themselves at a standstill at the red light at S.W. Spokane St., so the male driver and his female copilot craned out of their windows and yelled at the woman to “go back to your country,” while laughing and calling her names. She started snapping photos of the driver and his occupant’s faces, at which time the man pulled out a black handgun, pointed it at her and laughed some more before taking off eastbound on the West Seattle Bridge. The victim called police and shared her video and photos with them. Police were familiar with the man from a collision the day before and continue to investigate.
