Tryouts for high school football in Washington state get underway Wednesday, Aug. 21, followed by all other fall sports on Monday, Aug. 26. Contact the individual schools for exact times and locations.

Seattle Mariners
Seattle is on the road this week, starting with games at Tampa Bay at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday that can be seen live on the ROOT Sports cable television network and heard on ESPN radio 710 AM. The same channels will carry 5:05 p.m. games at Texas on Friday and Saturday and a 12:05 p.m. game in Texas on Sunday. Seattle comes closer to home to Oakland to play the A's at 7:07 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and at 12:37 p.m. Wednesday.
Seattle Seahawks
Seattle plays its first home National Football League preseason game Saturday with 7 p.m. action against the Denver Broncos at CenturyLink Field.
The game can be seen on Q13 live and heard on 710 ESPN Seattle.
Tacoma Rainiers
Tacoma-- the Class AAA affiliate of the Seattle Mariners -- is in Round Rock for 5:05 p.m. games today, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday before coming home to Cheney Stadium to play the Colorado Springs Sky Sox at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The Sky Sox stay in town for 1:30 p.m. action Sunday and more 7 p.m. games Monday and Tuesday.
AM 850 carries Rainiers games live.
Seattle Storm
The WNBA Seattle Storm hosts Chicago for 7 p.m. action at the KeyArena Thursday before entertaining Indiana Saturday and Los Angeles Tuesday at the same starting time and location.
KONG TV Channel 6 will show the Chicago game live and the Live Well cable channel will show Saturday's with Tuesday's carried nationally on ESPN 2. Storm games can be heard on AM 1090 radio.
Seattle Sounders
Seattle visits the Houston Dynamo for 6 p.m. Major League Soccer action Saturday that can be seen on KONG TV Channel 6.
Seattle Reign
Reign women's pro soccer will take place Saturday as the Seattle squad hosts the Portland Thorns in an 8 p.m. regular season ending match at the Starfire complex in Tukwila.
Everett Aquasox
The Seattle Mariners' Class A Northwest League affiliate is in Vancouver for games at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and at 1:05 p.m. Thursday before coming home to Everett Memorial to play Eugene in 7:05 p.m. games Friday and Saturday. Eugene stays in town for a 1:05 p.m. game Sunday and for more 7:05 p.m. action Monday and Tuesday.
