This year the Helmstetler Christmas Spectacular will have a NEW Master Of Ceremonies…a talking and singing 8 Foot Tall Snowman!!! And right now we are having a contest to name our snowman. Contest details and rules can be found at http://westseattlelights.com .
On Saturday, November 30th, West Seattle Lights will have their 5th Annual Lighting Ceremony at the home of Corey and Taylor Helmstetler at 3908 SW Charlestown. The public is invited free of charge, but attendees are asked to bring a food or cash donation for either West Seattle Food Bank or NW Parkinson’s Foundation.
Last year West Seattle Lights collected nearly 1100lbs of food for the West Seattle Food Bank and over $2500 for both the Food Bank and NW Parkinson’s Foundation.
Jim Winder, the creator and brains behind West Seattle Lights said, “I’m looking forward to having our new Master Of Ceremonies. We will also have a few other new features in our display that I am sure will delight the kid in all of us. Am also looking forward to another banner year of giving by our giving friends and neighbors of West Seattle and surrounding communities that will benefit our charities and bring smiles to all those who attend”.
The Lighting Ceremony begins at 7pm on Saturday, November 30th at 3908 SW Charlestown in West Seattle. We hope to also have a special guest, as we have had Zach Lystedt, Zach Scott (sounders) and Judy Pancoast (Grammy Nominee) in years past.
