One arrested for re-selling illegally obtained alcohol at West Seattle Junction restaurant

One by one, the cases of booze were taken away from the bar and packed into a truck by King County Sheriff’s Office deputies.
It was the morning of Sept. 26 and KCSO, in conjunction with Washington Liquor Control Board agents, were serving a search warrant on Puerto Vallarta Restaurant in the West Seattle Junction.
The owner of this longtime Junction staple was arrested in the raid, jailed overnight and released on Sept. 27.
A KCSO spokesperson said the owner allegedly purchased stolen alcohol to resell in his bar.
No charges have been filed by the King County Prosecutor’s office at this time.
