A Ballard News-Tribune reader witnessed a hit and run accident yesterday on 14th Ave NW, between NW 45th and 46th streets. She said it "looked pretty serious" -- airbags were deployed and both cars were mangled. She said that the driver and passenger in the silver car apparently ran away from the scene.
