Sports Watch
High schools
Boys basketball
Evergreen plays in the Chief Sealth Jamboree that starts at noon Saturday, while Mount Rainier plays in the Garfield jamboree the same day before turning around to host Evergreen at 7:15 p.m. next Monday.
Girls basketball
Evergreen will also go into action at noon Saturday, paying a visit to Seattle Prep. The Wolverines come home to play Washington High School of Parkland at 7 p.m. Monday.
Wrestling
Foster goes to Roosevelt to compete in a tournament starting at 8 a.m. Saturday.
Gymnastics
Highline goes to Mount Rainier to compete in a jamboree starting at 7 p.m. on Monday.
Colleges
Football
The University of Washington Huskies and the Washington State University Cougars go at it against each other in the annual Apple Cup game this coming Friday.
Game time at Husky Stadium in Seattle will be 12:30 p.m., with KCPQ Channel 13 carrying the action live.
Men's basketball
Washington gets a 6 p.m. visit from the University of Montana this Tuesday before hosting Long Beach State at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both games will be carried by the Pac-12 cable network.
The WSU Cougars will play Butler in an 11 a.m. game Thursday that can be seen on the ESPN 2 cable television network.
Seattle University is home against UC Riverside at 7 p.m. Monday on the ROOT cable network before visiting Eastern Washington University in Cheney at 6:05 p.m. Friday, while Gonzaga plays Dayton at 9 p.m. Monday at the Sports Maui Invitational tournament in a game that can be seen on ESPN 2. The tournament continues against Chaminade or Baylor on Tuesday with final games on Wednesday.
Seattle Pacific University, whose roster includes Kennedy graduate Mitch Penner as a sophomore, is in Chico, Calif. for two games this week. The Falcons take on San Francisco State at 5:30 p.m. Friday and play Chico State at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Women's basketball
The University of Washington is off until Wednesday, Dec. 4 when it visits Houston for a 5 p.m. game, but the Washington State University Cougars will be at Brigham Young University at 6 p.m. on Tuesday and at Nebraska for a 3 p.m. game Saturday.
Seattle is at home against Coastal Carolina at 7 p.m. Friday and Gonzaga hosts Colgate at 2 p.m. Saturday and Fairfield at 6 p.m. next Monday.

Seahawks
Seattle is off until next Monday, when it hosts the New Orleans Saints for a 5:40 p.m. game at CenturyLink Field. The game will be carried on ESPN.
Thunderbirds
Seattle takes a break for Thanksgiving before hosting Saskatoon for a 7:35 p.m. game Friday at the Showare Center in Kent.
