Reckless Driver Strikes Deputy at Scene of Fire
A driver in SeaTac was charged with reckless driving on December 19th after failing to obey the direction of a King County Sheriff’s deputy. While observing the work of emergency responders at the scene of a fire near the intersection of 166th Street and 33rd Avenue South, the distracted driver struck a deputy with their vehicle and then narrowly missed a parked Medic 1 vehicle when attempting to flee the scene. The Deputy was not reported as seriously injured.

Police Arrest Man For Beating Pregnant Girlfriend in Library
Burien Police arrested a man in his mid twenties who they believed fled the Burien Library and City Hall after attacking his pregnant girlfriend on the evening of December 22nd. Police found the man a block north of Burien Town Square Park. Though he denied being involved in any incident, witnesses identified him and the man they had scene knocking down a woman, striking her with his fists, and kicking her several times in the stomach. Witnesses believed that the woman was in her third trimester of pregnancy. Though the victim did not face any life threatening injuries, paramedics transported her to the Highline Medical Center to check on the health of the unborn baby.

Intoxicated Man Attacked After Party Foul
SeaTac Police broke up a party and committed a man to detox after he was beaten by partiers for committing a party foul at the Olympic View Apartments on December 17th. Party-goers reported that the man was attacked by residents of the apartment hosting the party after he broke their glass table as a result of his drunkenness. The man did not receive any life threatening injuries and SeaTac Police did not report charging the party hosts.
