Cassis restaurant, which has moved into the space once occupied by Alki Arts at 2820 Alki Ave. S.W. will officially open on Feb. 19.

The Cassis Bistro closed on Capitol Hill after a 7 year run in 2004. They describe their fare as "Country French food anchored in the classics with a talented Chef's spin. Seasonal menus that will change monthly using local farmers and foragers will keep things interesting for our kitchen as well as our customers."

The restaurant will have a 54 person capacity will have a happy hour from 4 to 6pm with dinner served from 5pm to 10pm, and full bar.
