SeaTac Police arrest man trying to pick a fight with random people
According to SeaTac Police, on the morning of Feb. 15, officers responded to reports of a man attempting to fight with would-be passengers at the King County Metro bus stop near the intersection of S. 176th St. and International Blvd. Deputies witnessed the suspect verbally threatening, attempting to assault, and spitting on random people as they passed by him. When deputies approached the man, he kicked one of the deputies. The suspect was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
High-speed chase from Des Moines ends with arrest in SODO
Des Moines Police were dispatched to a home in south Des Moines just after 11pm on Wed., Jan. 29 in an attempt to locate a suspect with a felony warrant out for his arrest. When police arrived at the home, a white late model Chevy pickup truck with three passengers began to flee the scene. Des Moines Police pursued the truck until it entered Burien. Once the vehicle had entered Burien, King County Sheriffs Department began to pursue the suspect. The pursuit continued at high speeds through Burien and then into south Seattle before eventually ending in the Seattle neighborhood of SODO after police laid a spike strip on the road near the intersection of 4th Ave. and S. Horton St. After the King County Sheriff’s Department stopped the vehicle and took the passengers into custody, Des Moines police responded to the scene and identified all three passengers as individuals who had warrants out for their arrest though the suspect they had originally been looking for was not one of them.
Police commit man high on bath salts in North Highline
According to the King County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to reports of a man frantically running in the roadway near the intersection of 12th Ave. S.W. and S.W. 116th St. on the evening of Feb. 13. Once on the scene, police found a man on foot screaming at traffic at the intersection. The suspect admitted to being high on “bath salts” and was involuntarily committed to the Highline Medical Center.
