Police Detectives outside the murder scene in the Highpoint neighborhood in West Seattle where a 46 year old woman was stabbed to death on Dec. 14, 2013. A 20 year old male has been arrested in the case and is now in King County Jail.
A 20-year-old man was arrested March 1 by Seattle Police for the December 2013 Highpoint murder of a 46 year old woman. The Herald reported on the crime that evening.
According to the Seattle Police blotter: "On December 14th, 2013 at approximately 12:20 p.m. the daughter of the 46-year-old female victim returned home and found the front door of their house unlocked (the mother and daughter lived together). The daughter was unable to find her mother inside the residence and subsequently called 911. Responding officers entered the house and after a thorough search located the victim deceased inside the residence.
Homicide and CSI detectives responded to the scene and began their investigation.
On March 1st, 2014 at approximately 11:00 a.m. Seattle Police Homicide detectives, following up on information developed during the course of their investigation, arrested the 20-year-old male suspect at his residence in the 10700 block of 18th Avenue SW in White Center.
Homicide detectives interviewed the suspect and subsequently booked him into the King County Jail for Investigation of Murder.
There are no additional suspects being sought in this case, which remains an active and on-going investigation.
