At the March meeting of the Admiral Neighborhood Association Aly Pennucci, Senior Planner with Seattle Dept. of Planning and Development, will discuss the potential zoning changes for the Admiral District. This may affect future parking options, the use of ground level storefronts for administrative offices and the efforts to encourage greater density.

Janet Jones, with the Genesee‐Schmitz Neighborhood Council, will provide an update about their recent grant application to fund pedestrian safety improvements near West Seattle High School at Calfornia Ave. S.W. and S.W. Stevens.

The West Seattle Relay for Life will also be discussed.

NOTE: Beginning this month the new meeting venue will be The Sanctuary at Admiral, at 2656 42nd Ave SW. Meeting will still take place the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm.
