West Seattle Helpline's Executive Director Tara Luckie has announced her departure from the job in a letter to supporters she shared with the West Seattle Herald.
Dear West Seattle Helpline Supporters,
I will be ending my tenure as Executive Director of the West Seattle Helpline at the end of this month. I have been offered and have accepted a position as Executive Director of the Environmental Science Center in Burien. I have very much appreciated your support while serving as the West Seattle Helpline Executive Director.
A transition plan is in place to ensure the momentum continues while searching for a new Executive Director. The Board of Directors is committed to finding a qualified leader within the community to take on this role. I will offer my support to the board in whatever capacity I can to ensure a smooth transition. The board is currently forming a hiring committee and taking the steps needed to hire a qualified candidate.
We are confident that my replacement will continue to lead the West Seattle Helpline in the future. You are welcomed to contact me or our Board President, Brooks Riendl by email at brooks@brnetworking.com or by phone at 206-769-3734 if you have any questions or input. Thank you for your continued support during this time of transition.
Warmly,
Tara Luckie
Executive Director
West Seattle Helpline
