The Marine Corps Mural Team is scheduled to unveil a mural to celebrate the commencement of Marine Week Seattle and the connection between community, country and Corps. The ceremony will begin Fri., July 25 at 4p.m. at Brown Bear Car Wash located at 1800 15th Ave W.

Each Marine Week Mural is unique to its host city and is this year’s mural is intended to serve as a gift on behalf of the Marine Corps to the citizens of Seattle for their support during Marine Week. The ceremony will last approx.. 20 minutes and will feature Randy Engstrom, The Director of the Office of @rts and Culture as the guest speaker. Also in attendance will be Victor Odermat, the owner of Brown Bear Carwash, and a representative of Sherwin Williams, the donors of the paint used to craft the mural.
