Suspect stabs woman’s chair with shotgun
On August 19 SPD responded to an assault with a deadly weapon at the 4600 block of Leary Way Northwest. Officers pulled up to the business and recognize the suspect described by dispatchers: white female in 40’s with pink top and black yoga pants. The suspect was leaving the business when officers arrived and slowly started backing into the business after seeing officers. There was also a male behind her. Officers told them to stay where they were and they did. They were arrested and cuffed for safety. Officers met with the victim who said that she was talking with the arrested male and giving him an update about her boyfriend, who was recently paralyzed, when the suspect pushed the back of her chair with a shotgun. The victim was knocked to the floor from the force. The male quickly took the gun away from the suspect and hid it behind a trash bin.
