Early morning holdup and shooting; One man shot, woman injured in attempted cell phone robbery

Seattle Police report that a man was shot and a woman was injured by shrapnel in a robbery in the parking lot of a West Seattle convenience store around 4:30am.
The incident took place in the 9000 block of Delridge Avenue SW just before 4:30 AM. The police report said witnesses heard a loud argument, followed by gunfire and then screaming.
Police found arrived at the scene found a man who had been shot in the leg and an injured woman, who was possibly hit by debris or shrapnel.
Both victims were taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said that a gunman opened fire on the victims after attempting to rob them for a cell phone.
The gunman and three other men fled the scene in a vehicle, described by witnesses as either a gold Buick or gray Ford Taurus.
Robbery detectives are conducting an investigation.
