At a school-wide prayer assembly this week, members of the Society of the Friends of St. Patrick in Seattle presented St. Alphonsus Parish School at check for $10,000 to go towards stu-dent scholarships. The money was raised during an auction at the Society’s 74th Annual Ban-quet.
St. Alphonsus Parish School is grateful to both the Society of the Friends of St. Patrick and the Fulcrum Foundation, who recommend them as one of the the beneficiaries of the Socie-ty’s auction. Along with the heartfelt applause and cheers of students and staff, Mr. Eisenhauer pre-sented a thank you poster to the Society handmade and signed by St. Al’s student council. The poster was inscribed with the words, “Go Ribh Math Agar,” which translates as “Thank You Very Much” in Gaelic.
