The Chief Sealth Seahawks showed took the west side honors tonight as they won the 2014 Huling Bowl in dramatic fashion friday night, beating West Seattle 18-14.
West Seattle came in with intensity - having battled against bigger schools all year in the Metro Sound league - they opened the game on defense by sacking Sealth QB Weston Reed twice in the first series.

In the 2nd quarter, it was the Wildcats again. Quarterback Joey Kane connected on a beautiful 40 yard pass to Carter Mensing. That set Glover up for his 2nd running TD from 5 yards out and it was 14-0 at half-time.
Chief Sealth finally converted in the top of the 4th quarter with a 35 yard run by Daron Camacho, closing the gap to 14-7. Then, at 6:21 in the 4th, Chief Sealth recovered a fumble on the West Seattle 25 yard line. 2 minutes later, Camacho was in the end zone again. A 2 point conversion by Reed put Chief Sealth on top 15-14.
The Seahawks sealed the deal with an interception and a field goal, going up 18-14 and claiming the 2014 Huling Bowl.
