In West Seattle development news the Department of Planning and Development has posted the following updates.
Applications
1606 California Ave. SW Project Number 3016112
Land Use Application to allow a 3-story structure containing 16 apartment units. Parking for 24 vehicles to be provided both below and at grade. Existing structures to be demolished.
The public can submit comments on this project until Nov. 5, 2014.
2167 Harbor Ave. SW Project Number 3018365
Land Use Application to allow one 3-story, 2-unit townhouse structure in an environmentally critical area. Parking for two vehicles to be provided within the structure. Existing Single Family Residence to be demolished under a separate permit.
The public can submit comments on this project until Nov. 5, 2014.

4827 21st Ave. SW Project Number 3014681
Land Use Application to subdivide one parcel into two parcels of land in an environmentally critical area. Proposed parcel sizes are: I) 18,205 sq. ft. and J) 9,753 sq. ft. Existing structures to remain.
The following appealable decisions have been made based on submitted plans:
Grant - Short Subdivision to create two parcels of land.
Determination of Non-Significance (no environmental impact statement required). Environmental review completed and no conditions imposed. This DNS is issued using the optional DNS process in WAC 197.11.355 and SMC 25.05.355. The comment period was originally published on October 3, 2013 and there is no further comment period on this DNS.
