At 5:02 p.m. a fight inside the Westfield Southcenter Mall in Tukwila ended with a single gunshot being fired. The incident happened near Southcenter Shoe Repair and spilled into the parking lot.
Police have detained four men, including one man who was shot in the hand, but believe at this time that their suspect is still on the loose. After detaining the four subjects a quick sweep of the parking lot turned up a handgun.
The make and model of the weapon is not being disclosed at this time.
The man who was shot suffered only superficial wounds to the hand and was treated at the scene. Police are currently questioning all four men. A press release is scheduled to be released in the morning with more information.
