Belligerent suspect pushes victim down stairs
On Feb. 7 officers received a report of an aggravated assault that took place at the 100 block of Northwest 85th Street. The victim told officers that she was “out at the bars” with a friend earlier that morning. Her friend became very intoxicated and started picking fights with fellow patrons. Later they went back to her friend’s boyfriend’s house. They were out on the porch when they got into an argument. Her friend slapped her across the face and shoved her down the stairs. The victim hit her head at the bottom of the stairs. She was dizzy but managed to call a friend for a ride. She declined medical attention and had no visible injuries. She could not remember the address of where the incident took place. Officers are investigating.
Thief breaks through plate glass window for cool shades
On Feb. 5 Seattle Police Officers responded to a burglary at a business residing on the 1700 block of Northwest Market Street. A burglar threw a rock through the front glass window of the business and triggered the security system. The business owner reported that at approximately 5 a.m. that morning the incident took place and that the burglar took two pairs of sunglasses. Nothing else was taken from the scene. No latent prints were discovered at the site. The valued estimate of the damage and loss of stolen goods is valued at $1500.
Back door fiend takes cash and electronics
On Feb. 2 officers were dispatched to a burglary that happened at a residence on the 1300 block of First Avenue Northwest. The complainant told officers that she left her home and returned a few hours later to find her room ransacked. She told officers that she had accidentally left her basement door unlocked. There was no damage to the door. The complainant told officers that there were electronics, cash and personal items taken.
Thief pries door in search of silverware
On Feb. 2 officers responded to a burglary at a residence residing on the 800 block of 15th Avenue Northwest. The complainant told officers that someone had pried open the back door to a storage area of his home. The latch to the door was completely pulled off. The complainant reported that he did not know what was taken but that a silverware chest had been emptied.
