Teen girl accosted on her way to school

Seattle Police were called after a 13-year-old girl reported a man accosted and touched her while she was on her way to school in West Seattle on Thursday.
According to the police report she said she was on a Metro bus when a man sat down beside her. She reported that the man stared at her and then followed when she got off the bus near SW Hanford Street and California Ave SW to eat breakfast at McDonalds near West Seattle High School.
She said that the man touched her on the buttocks as she got off the bus and she saw him standing outside the restaurant while she ate. He began to follow her again when she left and asked the girl for change. He began shouting at her, including insults when she told him she had no money.
When she got near the Madison Middle School he stopped following she said. Once safely in the school the victim told school officials, who then contacted police.
