Al arrived to pay his subscription bill in person & was surprised to find great niece Tamara had joined the Westside Weekly staff in 2014.

He started his subscription 62 Years ago, after the birth announcement of daughter Susan.
Al still works in his shop making wooden waddling duck toys and is a community ambassador for Military Veterans. Al & Ilmi were married 69 years and raised two daughters,Jeanne & Susan, in the Burien community
