Sun., April 26, 11 a.m. The public is invited to this mass celebrating the naming of the chapel in honor of William Pigott’s visionary commitment, legacy of faith, service and sacrificial giving. Pigott and five other lead donors partnered with the Sisters of Providence to raise the funds to build St. Vincent Home for the Aged. The building was dedicated on April 26, 1924. The Very Reverend Paul Magnano will preside. Grammy-winning film, television and symphony composer Mateo Massina will perform an original score in gratitude to William Pigott and Pigott”s granddaughter, Ann Wyckoff. Come in once or twice a month to speak with a senior deaf resident. This would be very beneficial for us to have an opportunity to interact with them as well as provide practice to volunteer who studies or wants to practice using sign language.
