SCS 4, Klahowya 1
Seattle Christian captured the West Central District Class 1A title with Friday's victory over Klahowya at Curtis High School in University Place.
The Warriors now advance to the regional level of state play for the final 16 teams.
Seattle Christian will take on South Whidbey in a 10 a.m. Saturday game at Volunteer Park in Anacortes.
The Warriors must win that game and a second that afternoon to reach the May 29-30 state tournament in Yakima.

Boys soccer
Central Kitsap 2, Kennedy 1
Kennedy Catholic came up short in Saturday's West Central District Class 3A championship battle at Highline Memorial Stadium, losing in a tiebreaker penalty kick shootout to Central Kitsap.
The Lancers were outscored in the shootout, 3-2.
JFK will open state action Tuesday, playing Shorewood in a 7:30 p.m. match at the Starfire Complex in Tukwila -- the Lancers' regular home field.
Liberty 3, Tyee 0
Tyee played for the West Central District 2A title Saturday at Franklin Pierce High School in Parkland and lost to Liberty of Issaquah.
As the district's No. 2 seed the Totems will host Ridgefield for a 6 p.m. state opener at Highline Memorial Stadium on Wednesday.
Puyallup 4, Mt. Rainier 1
Mount Rainier finished as the No. 4 West Central District seed into the Class 4A state tournament with Saturday's loss to Puyallup at Sparks Stadium.
Harms scored the lone goal for the Rams in the 69th minute of play.
Next up for Mount Rainier is an 8 p.m. state opening visit to Snohomish on Wednesday.
Fife 3, Foster 1
Foster fell to Fife in a loser-out, winner-to-state 2A West Central District match played at Art Crate Stadium in Graham on Saturday.
Track and field
West Central Sub-District 3A
Kennedy Catholic fared well as sub-district action ended at Sunset Chev Stadium in Sumner Saturday.
Garnett won the girls 100-meter dash for the Lancers in a time of 12.22 seconds and also took first in the 200 in 25.78.
Hoffman won the 100 hurdles with a 15.73 effort with Patten second in the 300 hurdles in 47.18.
Kennedy placed second in the 400-meter relay in 51.07. Campagnaro took third in the javelin Saturday at 114-4.
On the boys side, Haubrick-Feil took second in the 400 in 53.24 and Petralia was second in both the 100 (11.34) and 200 (23.10).
Nisqually League meet
Abi Kim of Seattle Christian won three events at the Nisqually League meet that concluded Saturday at Fife High School.
She won the 100-meter dash in a time of 12.46, the 200 in 25.72 and the long jump at 18 feet, 01 inches.
Also winning for the Warriors were Jennifer Hoag in the 3,200 (12:50.36) and Rachelle Mayes in the 800 (2:30.81).
