Normandy Park, WA — Normandy Park Senior Living & Memory Village will join an estimated 1,000 local groups to celebrate the 22nd Annual National Senior Health & Fitness Day (NSHFD) on May 27th, 2015 from 2 PM to 4 PM.. As an official host site, Normandy Park Senior Living will hold an free event including “Silver Sneakers” class, Tai Chi and Yoga demonstrations, blood pressure checks, healthy nutrition ideas, complimentary 5-minute massages and walker and cane checks by a Chiropractor.
On this day, Normandy Park Senior Living will join with an estimated 100,000 seniors across the country expected to help promote active, healthy lifestyles through physical fitness, good nutrition and preventive care. According John Lanouette, Executive Director, “Our National Senior Health & Fitness Day event is a wonderful opportunity for seniors to make, renew, and revitalize their commitment to live healthier lives through better health and fitness.”
