Ms. Annette Duvall has been named Athletic Director at Kennedy Catholic High School. Ms. Duvall has 19+ years of high school athletics experience serving athletes at all levels of district classification. Ms. Duvall currently serves as the Metro League Secretary and has served on the Sea-King District II Executive Board. She holds a Master of Science degree in Sport Pedagogy from Seattle Pacific University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education from Western Washington University.
Annette has most recently served as Athletic Director at Cleveland High School and was previously the Athletic Director at Bainbridge High School. She received Metro Athletic Director of the Year honors in 2010 and 2012 and the District Athletic Director of the Year award in 2012.
Annette was a collegiate student-athlete and has many years of coaching experience. She is a NFHS Association Certified Instructor and is an NIAAA Certified Athletic Administrator. At Kennedy Catholic, Annette will oversee 22 athletic teams, numerous coaches, activities and campus athletic facilities. She has an incredible amount of enthusiasm, energy and knowledge to share in the field of athletics.
The search process began with the announcement that Bob Bourgette would retire as Athletic Director at the end of this school year. Bob has seen many successes over the last four decades with his tireless dedication to Kennedy Catholic—the student athletes, his fellow coaches and the entire school community.
“We have hired an amazing Athletic Director," said Mike Prato, President of Kennedy Catholic. "After a very rigorous search process, our finalists presented differing gifts, but Annette’s passion, commitment and body of work are what make her the absolute best candidate. We are excited to welcome her to the team."
