Las week we ran a small profile piece on Jennifer Burbridge (to read click here), a research analyst with Seattle University whose current project has her working with the Seattle Police Department in the S.W. Precinct. As one of five student researchers placed in each of the city’s five precincts Burbridge is tasked with assessing the Micro Community Policing Plan in West Seattle.
In June 2016 her project will end and Burbridge will present an overview of the last year and a half to Chief of Police Kathleen O’Toole (as well as her two professors at Seattle University). A big function of that research will rely on focus groups. Five dates were announced last week for the end of June and now more dates have been added for August as well. If you are able and willing to participate all citizens and residents are welcome to join in on any of the dates listed below.
