Football
The 4-0 Kennedy Catholic Lancers visit 3-0 Lindbergh for a 7 p.m. Seamount League showdown at Renton Stadium on Thursday.
Highline Memorial will host a double-header Friday, with Evergreen playing Highline at 5 p.m. ahead of an 8 p.m. game between Mount Rainier and Thomas Jefferson.
West Seattle is at home at the Southwest Athletic Complex playing Roosevelt at 7 p.m. Friday as Foster travels to Renton.
Saturday's schedule has Evergreen Lutheran at Seattle Lutheran at 1:30 p.m. at West Seattle Stadium and Chief Sealth going to Seattle Memorial to play Franklin at 7 p.m.
Volleyball
West Seattle hosts Rainier Beach for a 7 p.m. match Wednesday as Chief Sealth travels to Nathan Hale.
Seattle Christian goes to Cascade Christian at 5:45 p.m., Seattle Lutheran hosts Northwest Yeshiva at 6 p.m. and Mount Rainier hosts Thomas Jefferson at 7:15 p.m.
Scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday are Northwest Yeshiva at Shorewood Christian and the Muckleshoot Tribal School at Seattle Lutheran.
A full Seamount League slate starts at 7 p.m. with Foster at Highline, Renton at Evergreen, Tyee at Lindbergh and Kennedy at Hazen.
Chief Sealth entertains Roosevelt's Roughriders at 7 p.m. as West Seattle travels to Nathan Hale on Monday, while at 6 p.m. Tuesday Shorewood Christian is at Muckleshoot and Seattle Lutheran at Mount Rainier Lutheran.
Kennedy hosts Evergreen in a 7 p.m. battle Tuesday as Tyee hosts Hazen, Highline goes to Lindbergh and Foster to Renton.
Boys tennis
Kennedy Catholic hosts Highline for a 3:30 p.m. match at Steve Cox Memorial Park on Wednesday, then Mount Rainier entertains Kentlake and Kennedy travels to Renton at the same time Thursday.
Foster gets a 3:30 p.m. visit from Hazen on Friday and Mount Rainier goes to Kentridge at the same time Monday before hosting Decatur on Tuesday.
Cross country
Mount Rainier hosts Decatur on Wednesday, with the varsity girls running at 4:30 p.m. and the boys at 5 p.m.
At 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Thursday Kennedy hosts Highline, Renton and Lindbergh with Hazen entertaining Foster, Tyee and Evergreen.
Shorewood Christian is at home against the rest of the SeaTac B League at 4 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. Thursday, and at 3:40 p.m. and 4:20 p.m. West Seattle and Chief Sealth are at Blanchet.
Evergreen goes to Curtis for an invitational Saturday as Mount Rainier travels to Cedarcrest and Seattle Christian to Yakima.
SCS has a 4 p.m. Nisqually League meet at Fort Steilacoom Park scheduled for Tuesday.
Girls soccer
Scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Thursday are Cascade Christian at Seattle Christian, Lindbergh at Tyee, West Seattle at Roosevelt and Eastside Prep at Seattle Lutheran, with Evergreen visiting Renton at 4 p.m.
Kennedy is home at Starfire playing Hazen at 6 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m. Highline is at Foster and Kentwood at Mount Rainier.
Seattle Christian is at Klahowya at 3:30 p.m. Monday, then at the same time Tuesday Evergreen hosts Kennedy at Valley Ridge, Chief Sealth visits Ballard and West Seattle goes to Blanchet.
Scheduled for 7:30 p.m. that day are Lindbergh at Highline, Renton at Foster and Mount Rainier at Kentridge.
Girls swimming
Kennedy hosts Hazen for a 3 p.m. meet Thursday as Evergreen/Highline/Tyee visits Renton, Foster goes to Lindbergh and Mount Rainier to Kentlake.
Chief Sealth and West Seattle are at Bainbridge on Friday, with Mount Rainier hosting Decatur on Tuesday.
Golf
Foster goes to Glen Acres to play Kennedy at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, and at the same time the Mount Rainier girls host Kent-Meridian at Riverbend and the boys go to Kent-Meridian.
Evergreen/Highline/Tyee is at home at the Rainier Golf and Country Club playing Hazen at 3 p.m. as Chief Sealth plays Roosevelt on the West Seattle course.
Chief Sealth visits West Seattle at 3 p.m. Monday and Evergreen/Highline/Tyee is at Foster at 3:30 p.m.
Kennedy drops in on Renton/Lindbergh at 2:55 p.m. Tuesday and at 3:15 p.m. the Mount Rainier girls are home against Kentridge as the boys go to Kentridge.

Seahawks
Seattle plays a 5:30 p.m. home game against the Detroit Lions at CenturyLink Field on Monday that can be seen on ESPN and heard on 710 AM radio.
Sounders
The Major League Soccer Seattle Sounders will be at CenturyLink Field this Sunday playing the Los Angeles Galaxy at 6:30 p.m.
Fox Sports 1 will show the action live.
Mariners
Seattle hosts the Houston Astros for a 7:10 p.m. game at Safecp Field on Wednesday before entertaining the Oakland A's for Fan Appreciation Night and Fireworks Night action at the same time Friday. Felix Hernandez is also scheduled to pitch that night.
The A's stay in town for a 6:10 p.m. game Saturday and a 12:10 p.m. season finale Sunday.
All Mariners games can be seen on ROOT Sports cable television. Radio coverage is on 710 AM.
Thunderbirds
The Seattle Western Hockey League team's home opener is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Saturday at the Showare Center in Kent ahead of a 5:05 p.m. match at Tri-City on Sunday.

Cougars
Washington State University is at California for a 1 p.m. game Saturday that will be carried on the Pac-12 network.
Huskies
The University of Washington has a bye this week before visiting USC at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8 on ESPN.
