Friday's Lindbergh at Evergreen football game has been canceled following the death of senior Evergreen player Kenny Bui on Monday.

Bui was injured making a tackle in the fourth quarter of this past Friday's game against Highline and the game was halted after ambulances arrived.

He was surrounded by aid workers and trainers, and one of the trainers went out to talk to the referee and the action was called with Highline leading, 34-0.

Bui was rushed in critical condition to Harborview in Seattle, where he had emergency surgery.
Bui passed away Monday morning.

Bui played wide receiver and defensive back for the Wolverines.
