Here we blow again: High winds coming Tuesday as another storm arrives

NOAA has issued a High Wind Watch for Tuesday Nov. 17 with gusts as high as 58 mph from Tuesday morning through the entire day with the strongest winds expected in mid morning.
A HIGH WIND WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING.
* WIND...SOUTH OR SOUTHWEST 25 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS NEAR 60 MPH ARE POSSIBLE BEGINNING TUESDAY MORNING AND CONTINUING INTO THE AFTERNOON HOURS EXCEPT NEAR THE STRAIT OF JUAN DE FUCA WHERE THE STORNG WINDS COULD CONTINUE INTO THE EVENING HOURS.
* SOME AFFECTED LOCATIONS...EVERETT...SHELTON...BREMERTON...AND SEATTLE.
* TIMING...THE STRONGEST WINDS ARE ANTICIPATED TO OCCUR FROM MID MORNING TO MID AFTERNOON TUESDAY...WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE STRAIT OF JUAN DE FUCA. STRONG WINDS IN THE STRAIT OF JUAN DE FUCA WILL BEGIN MID TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE INTO THE EVENING HOURS.
* IMPACTS...HIGH WINDS CAN DOWN TREES...DAMAGE PROPERTY...AND CAUSE POWER OUTAGES.

A HIGH WIND WATCH MEANS THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR A DAMAGING WIND EVENT. SUSTAINED WINDS OF AT LEAST 40 MPH AND/OR GUSTS OF 58 MPH OR STRONGER MAY OCCUR.
