Girls basketball
The winter season tips off Saturday, with Kennedy Catholic playing in the Auburn Jamboree at 3 p.m. and Chief Sealth hosting a jamboree starting at 4:30 p.m.
Highline travels to Ingraham for a 7 p.m. full game on Monday.
At 7 p.m. Tuesday Seattle Christian is at home playing Evergreen as Mount Rainier hosts Interlake and West Seattle entertains Evergreen of Vancouver.
Chief Sealth gets an 8 p.m. visit from Foster that day.
Boys basketball
Mount Rainier plays in the Garfield tournament Saturday, then at 6 p.m. Monday the Foster team participates in the Mercer Island Jamboree.
Highline hosts Ingraham at 7 p.m. Monday, then Foster visits Chief Sealth at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Tyee travels to Overlake at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Wrestling
Highline participates in the Roosevelt tournament starting at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Pros
Seahawks
Seattle gets a 1:25 p.m. visit from the Pittsburgh Steelers at CenturyLink Field on Sunday.
Channel 7 will televise the game live and it can also be heard on 710 AM.
Thunderbirds
Red-hot Seattle visits Kelowna for 7:05 p.m. Western Hockey League action Wednesday before coming home to the Showare Center in Kent to play Vancouver at 7:35 p.m. Friday and Moose Jaw at 7:05 p.m. Saturday.
The Thunderbirds have won six-straight matches.
Stars
Tacoma's indoor soccer team is off until Friday, Dec. 4 when it will entertain the Dallas Sidekicks at 7:35 p.m. at the Showare Center in Kent.
Colleges
Huskies vs. Cougars
Friday is the annual Apple Cup game between the University of Washington and Washington State University.
The action starts at 12:30 p.m. at Husky Stadium in Seattle and can be seen on Channel 13.
Husky men's hoop
Washington plays Gonzaga in a 9 a.m. game Wednesday in the Bahamas (Nassau) and they will stay there for ensuing tournament action Thursday and Friday.
Wednesday's game will be televised on ESPN 2.
Cougar men's hoop
Washington State University hosts Texas Southern for a 6 p.m. game Saturday that can be seen on the Pac-12 network.
Redhawk men's hoop
Seattle University gets a 7 p.m. visit from Great Falls at the Showare Center in Kent this Wednesday before visiting California at 7 p.m. Tuesday on the Pac-12 network.
Falcon men's hoop
Seattle Pacific University goes to Chico State for 7:30 p.m. action Friday and will stay in Chico, Calif. to play Cal State East Bay on Saturday.
Husky women's hoop
The Huskies are in Syracuse for 6:45 p.m. action Friday before dropping in on Texas Tech at the same time Saturday.
Cougar women's hoop
Washington State University entertains San Jose State at 7 p.m. Friday before visiting Oklahoma State at 5 p.m. Monday.
Redhawk women's hoop
Seattle University is at LMU in Los Angeles for 3:30 p.m. action Friday before playing an ensuing tournament game Saturday.
Falcon women's hoop
Seattle Pacific is off until Dec. 3.
