Police were dispatched to a store in the 1500 block of S.W. Holden St., for reports of a shooting Dec. 15 at around 4:00 p.m. The store owner gave police video footage of the incident. From the footage, police saw that a green Chevy Suburban parked in front of the store. Two men exited the vehicle and entered the store and bought merchandise. The two men had then left the store and got back into the Suburban as a white Ford Explorer pulled into the parking near the Suburban. A man who was a passenger in the Explorer got out and walked to the driver side window of the Suburban. A confrontation broke out between the two men and the man began to assault the driver. During the altercation, a front seat passenger of the Suburban slipped out of the vehicle and drew a pistol, while rounding the rear side of the green vehicle, the passenger fired several shots at the man who attacked the driver. The Explorer quickly left the scene and drove down an alley close to the Seattle Fire station. The shooter ran away East bound on S.W. Holden St. The Suburban and it's two occupants also left the scene. Police found multiple .45 caliber shell casings. In addition, a witness told officers of a black box that had been left by the fleeing Ford Explorer at the entrance of the alley. Police searched the black box and found about ninety-one pills of Oxycodone and about 5.2 grams of cocaine, along with black pants and shoes. The shooter remains at large.
