South Highline National captures title

South Highline National made quick work of Seattle Central for the District 7 Intermediate title for 13 year olds between Majors and Juniors.
National scored a 19-4 victory over Seattle to open the two-team double-elimination tournament Saturday, then wrapped up the title with a 17-7 win Sunday.
The win in the action held at the PacWest complex advances National to the state tournament, which District 7 will host at the Underwood complex at 11 a.m. Sunday, July 10 against the District 9 vs. District 4 winner from the day before.
Age 10-11
PacWest and South Highline National will play in Wednesday's 6 p.m. age 10-11 winner's bracket final for District 7 after posting wins over the weekend.
PacWest opened the action at its home complex with a 15-1 win over West Seattle on Saturday before defeating Southwest of White Center on Sunday, 21-1.
National, meanwhile, opened with a 12-1 victory over Seattle Central on Saturday and dealt Renton a 10-6 defeat Sunday.
South Highline American, meanwhile, took a 17-0 loss to Renton in its opener on Saturday before bowing out of the tournament with a 12-2 loss to Seattle Central on Sunday.
West Seattle plays Renton in a 6 p.m. loser's bracket game Monday and Southwest plays Seattle Central at the same time Tuesday.
Monday's and Tuesday's winners meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, with the loser's bracket final pitting the winner of that game with Wednesday's loser at the same time Friday.
The provisional championship is at 9 a.m. Saturday with the if necessary game at 9 a.m. Sunday.
Age 9-10
Rainier District and Renton are off to the District 7 age 9-10 winner's bracket final, which takes place at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the PacWest complex.
Both teams opened with byes Saturday, with Rainier District defeating South Highline National, 13-6, Sunday and Renton beating West Seattle, 15-2, that day.
West Seattle had opened with a 22-0 win over Seattle Central on Saturday and National opened with a 6-3 victory over PacWest.
West Seattle plays PacWest in a 6 p.m. Monday loser's bracket game and National meets Seattle Central at the same time Tuesday.
The winner's of those games play at 6 p.m. Thursday with the winner meeting Wednesday's loser at 6 p.m. Friday in the loser's bracket final.
The provisional championship is at 9 a.m. Saturday and the if-necessary game at 10 a.m. Sunday.
