Delridge Day is back on Saturday Aug. 13 for its 10th Anniversary from 11am to 3pm with a ton of activities for the whole family. Held at the Delridge Community Center Park and Skatepark located at 4501 Delridge Way SW, Seattle, WA 98106, the event features community booths, a skateboard competition, the Southwest Seattle Police Precinct demonstrations, the horse patrol, and everything from food to live music to potato sack races. The have a handful of volunteer needs on Saturday from set-up starting at 8:00am to breakdown at 3:00pm to games and the info booth.
In return for a couple hours of your time, they have FREE logo T-shirts and FOOD Vouchers. Plus, if you're a student, they are happy to sign off on a letter for community volunteer credits.

The event is put on by VieWS (Visualize Increased Engagement in West Seattle) and sponsored by
Seattle City Light. Feature Sponsors include: Nucor Steel, PNTA, Seattle Parks & Recreation, and Straight Blast Gym.
VieWS continues the tradition of donating a percentage of all fees to the ARC (Associated Recreational Council), which provides money to fund scholarships for Community Center classes at the Delridge Community Center.
