A suspected arsonist/burglar was caught at Harbor Marina on Harbor Island on March 22.
According to the police the suspect arrived in a kayak and attempted to start a fire at one of the covered slips.
The owner of the slip saw him and they got in a fight and was pepper sprayed.
The police were called and the suspect tried to elude the police by diving under the dock and got his clothing stuck under the dock. The fire department had to cut the flooring of the dock to get him out.
According to the police he was hypothermic but alive and was taken away in an aid car.
