Suspect sought in White Center homicide

The King County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a man involved in a homicide earlier this month. A Murder 1 warrant has been issued for Billy D. William, 30, of Oregon for the death of Seattle resident James Little, 30, on Sunday, May 7. Little was attending a birthday party at a bar located in the 9800 block of 16 Ave SW. A group of women got into a fight, which moved outside. Little approached the group, and Williams pulled a gun and shot Little in the head, killing him. Detectives have not released a motive for the shooting. To provide information about Williams, call 911 or remain anonymous and call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).   

Bar room assault on SW Admiral Way

When police arrived at a bar located on the 4200 block of SW Admiral Way to investigate an assault at 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, the Seattle Fire Department was already on the scene, checking on the victim. A witness said she was there with a group for a bachelorette party and only heard the assault, not seeing what happened. She also saw three women leaving the bar quickly afterwards. She thought the women were involved, because they had assaulted others in the past. The witness provided information about the suspects from her Facebook page. The bartender also did not see the assault and did not access to surveillance cameras. Another witness saw the women get into a grey Toyota Corolla and speed away to the east. The victim did not remember the events leading up the assault. She said she woke up on the ground with people standing over her and blood running down her head. The fire department had already bandaged her injury, but she still had a lot of blood on her hands and face. She was transported to Harborview Medical Center. She told police that she did not know the three women and was not sure with what she had been hit.

Assault at restaurant on SW Roxbury

Around 2 p.m. on Friday, May 12, officers responded to a call about an assault in a restaurant located on the 1600 block of SW Roxbury St. The victim said she had ordered her food, placed her plate on a table and went to get condiments from the other side of the room. She then saw another woman begin eating her food and asked her to stop. She told the woman that she would even buy her something. The victim tried to reach for her food and the suspect scratched her on the neck. A witness heard the commotion and tried to intervene, placing himself between the two women. The suspect tried to exit the establishment. The victim tried to stop her, and the suspect picked up a fire extinguisher and started swinging it wildly at her. The witness then restrained the suspect until officers arrived. The suspect was placed under arrest, but the victim did not want to press charges. The victim made a statement and was given medical aid for scratch marks on her neck, as well as minor cuts and bruises on her shin and knuckles.
