Little League
District 7
The age 8-10 baseball tournament kicks off the all-star season for District 7 Little League this week.
Action begins Saturday at the two Bar-S fields above Alki Point in West Seattle.
Seattle Central plays PacWest on field No. 1 at 10 a.m. as South Highline American and South Highline National do battle on No. 2.
Renton meets Southwest of White Center on No. 1 at 1 p.m. as Rainier plays West Seattle on No. 2.
The winners all play at 1 p.m. Sunday, with the winners of those two games playing in the winner's bracket final at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The winner of Tuesday's game goes straight to the 6 p.m. Friday, June 30 championship.
Saturday's losers, meanwhile, meet at 10 a.m. Sunday with the winners playing the 1 p.m. losers at 6 p.m. Monday.
Monday's winners meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday and the winner of that game plays the winner's bracket final loser in the loser's bracket final at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 29. Thursday's winner goes to the championship and must beat the other team twice to advance to state.
Age 9-11 and Majors play opens Saturday, July 1.

Highline Bears
The Highline Bears will host the San Francisco Seals for semiprofessional baseball action at 7:05 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Mel Olson Stadium at Steve Cox Memorial Park in White Center.
Highline travels to Langley, B.C. Saturday to play the Blaze in a 1:05 p.m. double-header.

Seattle will host the Detroit Tigers for 7:10 p.m. action Wednesday and Thursday before the Houston Astros come to Safeco Field for 7:10 p.m. games Friday and Saturday and for a 1:10 p.m. contest Sunday.
The Philadelphia Phillies fly in for action starting at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday.
All Mariners games can be seen live on the ROOT Sports Northwest cable television network.

Seattle hosts Orlando City for a 7:30 p.m. match at CenturyLink Field this Wednesday before going to Portland for 1 p.m. Major League Soccer action Sunday.

Seattle entertains Phoenix for a 7 p.m. game Friday before visiting Washington at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Seattle's professional women's soccer team gets a 7 p.m. visit from Kansas City this Saturday at Seattle Memorial.
Rainiers
Tacoma goes to Reno to play the Aces at 7:05 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 1:05 p.m. Sunday.
The Rainiers come home to Cheney Stadium to play Las Vegas at 6:05 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

Everett visits Vancouver this Wednesday and Thursday and goes to the Tri-Cities Friday through Sunday before coming home to Everett Memorial to play Vancouver at 7:05 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
