Little League
District 7 tournament
Two District 7 all-star baseball tournaments are concluding at the PacWest complex this week.
The age 9-11 tournament concludes first, with the provisional championship involving West Seattle and an opponent to be determined scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday. The if-necessary game is at the same time Thursday.
Majors age 11-12 tournament play includes the winner's bracket final Wednesday, followed by a loser's bracket game at 6 p.m. Thursday and the loser's bracket final at 6 p.m. Friday.
The provisional championship is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday and the if-necessary game for 10 a.m.Sunday.
State tournaments
Some state tournaments also start this week.
The Little League Major softball tournament starts in Oak Harbor on Wednesday, and starting Saturdayare the age 8-10 baseball tournament in Aberdeen, the age 9-11 baseball tournament in Salmon Creek, the Intermediate baseball tournament in Vancouver and the Senior baseball tournament in Port Orchard.

Highline Bears
The Bears are in Kamloops, B.C. for a tournament that runs Thursday through Sunday before going to Fall City to play the Northwest Honkers at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Seattle is at home at Safeco Field for a 7:10 p.m. game against the Kansas City Royals Wednesday, then the Oakland A's come to town for four games -- at 7:10 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 1:10 p.m. Sunday.
Tuesday is the All-Star game in Miami.
All Mariners games are carried on the ROOT Sports cable network.
Sounders
Seattle hosts Eintracht Frankfurt for a 12 p.m. match Saturday that can be seen on JOEtv.
Storm
Seattle entertains New York for a 7 p.m. match at the KeyArena on Thursday before getting a visit from Los Angeles at 6 p.m. Saturday.
JOEtv will carry the action live for both games with Mount Rainier graduate Dick Fain doing the play-by-play.
Reign
Seattle visits North Carolina for a 1 p.m. game Saturday that can be seen on the Lifetime network.
Rainiers
Tacoma is in Reno to play Federal Way native Hank Conger and the Aces at 7:05 p.m. Wednesdayand Thursday before going to Sacramento to battle the Rivercats at 7:05 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 1:05 p.m. Sunday.
Tacoma is hosting AAA all-star festivities Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
AquaSox
Everett hosts the Tri-Cities team at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday before getting a visit from Salem-Keizer at the same time Thursday, Friday and Saturday, at 4:05 p.m. Sunday and at 7:05 p.m. Monday.

This week the Auburn oval is open for 6:30 p.m. horse racing action Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m.Sunday.
