Little League
State tournaments
The Normandy Park City Hall fields will be the site of the eight-team age 9-11 all-star softball tournament starting Friday, although it does not include any local host District 7 team.
PacWest plays in the Major Little League baseball state tournament that opens Saturday at the Federal Way National complex and South Highline National will be in the Junior age 13-14 tournament that opens Saturday in Shoreline.
PacWest takes on District 3 (Southwest Washington) at 6 p.m. Saturday in the Majors age 10-12 tournament.
Semipro
Highline Bears
Highline wraps up a long string of road games Wednesday when it visits the North Sound Emeralds for a 7 p.m. baseball game at Edmonds Community College.
The Bears then start a three-game homestand at Mel Olson Stadium at Steve Cox Memorial Park in White Center.
Laces Baseball Club pays a visit at 7:05 p.m. Thursday, then the Seattle Studs stop by for a game at the same time Friday and for another at 7:35 p.m. Saturday.
Highline visits the Everett Merchants for a 1 p.m. double-header at Everett Memorial Stadium Sunday before dropping in on the Wenatchee Applesox at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.

Seattle comes back from the All-Star break Friday, visiting the Chicago White Sox for 5:10 p.m. action.
The Mariners stay in Chicago for a 4:10 p.m. game Saturday and an 11:10 a.m. game Sunday before going to Houston to play the Astros at 5:10 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
ROOT Sports cable television carries all Mariners games live.
Sounders
Seattle is off until 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 19 when it hosts D.C. United.
Storm
Seattle hosts Connecticut for a 12 p.m. game at the KeyArena on Wednesday before entertaining Atlanta at 6 p.m. Saturday and Chicago at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Wednesday's and Saturday's action can be seen on JOEtv and Tuesday's on ESPN2.
Reign
Seattle gets a 1 p.m. visit from Boston at Seattle Memorial Stadium this Saturday.
Rainiers
After hosting the Class AAA all-star game Wednesday the Rainiers return to Pacific Coast League action Thursday when they host the Fresno Grizzlies at 7:05 p.m. at Cheney Stadium.
Fresno stays in town for action at the same time Friday and Saturday and for a 1:35 p.m. game Sunday.
The Rainiers visit the Albuquerque Isotopes at 6:05 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
AquaSox
Everett visits the Tri-City Dust Devils Wednesday, Thursday and Friday before dropping in on the Eugene Emeralds Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
Emerald Downs
Auburn's track hosts 6:30 p.m. horse racing action Friday and Saturday, followed by a 2 p.m. start Sunday.
