A home that, according to one of the family members who lives there, has been broken into, "four times this year" was the center of a search for a burglar who apparently got away into Fauntleroy Park, despite a police search on Tuesday afternoon.
The burglar got nothing, "Because everything was already stolen" according to the resident and the suspect made a hole in a fence to get away. The home has security cameras but they didn't prevent any of the multiple break ins.
Seattle Police responded to the call quickly near the intersection of SW Barton and SW Director Streets but the suspect was gone. A K-9 unit was called in, the King County Sheriff helicopter Guardian One was overhead and Fenton Glen and other areas of the park were combed.
The search proved futile however.
This is one of the reasons I moved out of Seattle.
People living in the parks and under the bridge coming out to rob residents.
Not all but enough of them to make life not safe.
