Highline scored its second football victory of the year Friday, dealing the Renton Indians a 28-7 defeat.
The win in the second game of a doubleheader at Highline Memorial gave the Pirates a 2-6 overall recotd.
Mount Rainier took a narrow 14-7 loss to Kentlake in the first game of the twin bill.
The Rams, who were fresh off a decisive win over Kentridge the week before, now stand at 2-6 overall including mostly close losses.
"Our record could have easily been reversed," said Mount Rainier head coach Tremain Mack, whose team fell to 2-4 in the North Puget Sound League Cascade Division with the loss in a key game with playoff implications.
