Discover Burien is very pleased to welcome Jennafer Price Cargill as the new Executive Director of the organization. Ms. Price Cargill moved to the local area in 2006 and comes to Discover Burien with extensive business and non-profit experience, including as the former Principal Consultant and CEO of the Price Williams Non-Profit Group.  She is very excited to take on the role and says “Burien offers so much to residents: unique small businesses and great community events – little did I know how impactful Discover Burien has been!”  She adds that she is “honored to have been entrusted with the responsibility of taking this awesome organization into the future.” 

The Discover Burien Board of Directors felt that Price Cargill’s experience will be a great asset to Burien and will further the mission, vision and programs of the organization. Board President Daniel Keane (also known as the Owner/Operator of Serenza Salon & Spa) says: “After an extensive search and interviewing several highly qualified candidates, our board is very excited to begin working with Jennafer.” 

Jennafer started at Discover Burien in mid-October and is quickly learning the ropes. The staff is excited to work with her as we approach the holiday season.
