Car stolen from bar parking lot

A vehicle theft was reported at 4:45 p.m. on Mon., Nov. 6. The car was parked at El Pique, 14445 Ambaum Blvd. S. 

Mail theft on Des Moines Memorial

Officers were dispatched to a home on the 13000 block of Des Moines Memorial to investigate a mail theft around 5:40 p.m. on Mon., Nov. 6. The victim said her locked mailbox was damaged and some mail was missing. A crowbar had been used to pry open the box. 

Assault at Highline Hospital 

At 11 p.m. on Sun., Nov. 5, a suspect was booked for assaulting security guards at Highline Hospital, 16251 Sylvester Rd. 

Stealing from the nail salon

The backdoor at Topcoat Nails Salon, 15830 1st Ave. S., was used as an entryway for burglars. They broke the door handle to gain access inside. The crime was reported at 9:38 a.m. on Sat., Nov. 4. 

Caught stealing from Safeway

Suspects were caught shoplifting alcohol from Safeway, 138 S.W. 148th St., at 8:45 p.m. on Fri., Nov. 3. Officers found them at the nearby Rite Aid and were able to return the alcohol. All of the suspects were formally trespassed from both Safeway and Rite Aid. 

Robbery at therapy

A young man robbed a woman of her purse, threatening that he had a gun, at 11:20 a.m. on Thurs., Nov. 2 in front of Children’s Therapy, 127 S.W. 156th St. 

Assault on Metro bus stop

A man was bleeding from his ear and said he had been stabbed at the Metro bus stop, 9650 15th Ave. S.W. The crime was reported at 7 p.m. on Tues., Oct. 31. 

Two homes burglarized on same block 

Two homes, both located on the 9700 block of 10th Place S.W., were burglarized. The crimes were reported at 10 a.m. and noon on Sat., Oct. 28.  Both houses were under construction.
