Sports events worth keeping an eye on

High schools
Boys basketball
All Ballard boys basketball home games are being broadcast on 107.3 FM radio this year and streamed on fulcrumcc.org/listen, with former Beavers head coach Billy Rodgers and former assistant coach Jon Adams providing commentary.
Next up for the Beavers is a 7:30 p.m. visit to Blanchet on Tuesday followed by an 8:30 p.m. home game against Eastside Catholic on Friday.
Chief Sealth, meanwhile, hosts Nathan Hale at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday as West Seattle visits O’Dea. Friday’s Metro League schedule has Chief Sealth at Cleveland and West Seattle at Ingraham at 8:30 p.m.
Kennedy Catholic visits Kentwood and Mount Rainier goes to Kent-Meridian at 7 p.m. Wednesday and at the same time Thursday the Rams host Evergreen. Friday’s schedule has Kennedy at Tahoma and Mount Rainier at Kentwood at 7 p.m.
Evergreen also visits Foster at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Friday’s schedule has Washington at Evergreen and White River at Foster at 7 p.m.
Evergreen goes to Black Hills for another 7 p.m. game Saturday.
Highline goes to Eatonville and Tyee to Orting at 7 p.m. Tuesday with Highline visiting Tyee at the same time Friday.
Seattle Christian entertains King’s Way Christian at the same time Friday before visiting Kennedy Catholic at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Seattle Lutheran drops in on Pope John Paul II at 8 p.m. Tuesday at St. Martin’s University in Lacey and visits Mount Vernon Christian at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Girls basketball
Chief Sealth hosts Nathan Hale at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday as West Seattle goes to Holy Names and Ballard to Blanchet.
Friday at 7 p.m. Ballard is at home against Eastside Catholic as West Seattle travels to Ingraham and Chief Sealth to Cleveland.
Mount Rainier drops in on Auburn for a 7:30 p.m. game Monday and hosts Kent-Meridian at 7 p.m. Wednesday as Kennedy Catholic entertains Kentwood. Friday at 7 p.m. Kennedy is at home against Tahoma and Mount Rainier home against Kentwood.
Tyee gets a 7 p.m. visit from Liberty on Monday before hosting Orting at the same time Tuesday as Highline entertains Eatonville. Tyee visits Highline at 7 p.m. Friday.
Foster visits Seattle Christian for a 7 p.m. contest Monday and visits Evergreen at the same time Tuesday, with Seattle Christian home against Fife at 7 p.m. Thursday. Evergreen goes to Washington and Foster to White River at 7 p.m. Friday. Seattle Christian also hosts Seattle Academy at 3 p.m. Saturday.

Tyee goes to Lindbergh for 7 p.m. action Monday and Evergreen and Highline drop in on Renton at the same time Friday.

Chief Sealth hosts Ballard and West Seattle along with Roosevelt and Rainier Beach at 6:30 p.m. Thursday and Ballard travels to Fife for the Larry Brown Invitational at 8 a.m. Saturday.
Highline entertains Kennedy Catholic, Mount Rainier and Lindbergh at 6 p.m. Wednesday and at 7 p.m. Thursday JFK is at Kentlake and Mount Rainier at Hazen.
Girls wrestling
Chief Sealth gets a visit from Ballard, West Seattle and Roosevelt at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Tyee travels to Foss for an 8 a.m. tournament Saturday along with Evergreen as Highline journeys to Centralia for a 9 a.m. tournament.

Ballard gets a 4 p.m. visit from Seattle Prep on Friday as Chief Sealth and West Seattle go to Ingraham.
Kennedy Catholic hosts Kent-Meridian for a 3 p.m. meet at the City of Tukwila pool Tuesday and Mount Rainier journeys to Tahoma at 3:30 p.m. and Thursday JFK entertains Kentwood at 3 p.m. and Mount Rainier travels to Kentlake at 3:30 p.m.
Fife visits Evergreen along with Highline and Tyee for a 3 p.m. Thursday meet.
Girls bowling
Kennedy Catholic hosts Federal Way at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Hiline Lanes and hosts Hazen at the same time and place Thursday.

Seattle visits Jacksonville for 1:25 p.m. National Football League action Sunday that can be seen on Channel 13.
Sounders
Seattle will be playing for its second straight Major League Soccer Cup championship at 1 p.m. Saturday in Toronto.
ESPN cable television will carry the action live.
Thunderbirds
Saskatoon visits Seattle for a 7:05 p.m. Western Hockey League match at the Showare Center in Kent on Tuesday and the Tri-City Americans drop in on the Thunderbirds at 7:35 p.m. Friday. Seattle visits Spokane at 7:05 p.m. Saturday.
Stars
Tacoma’s men’s professional indoor soccer team visits the Kansas City Comets at 7:35 p.m. Friday and the Milwaukee Wave at 6:05 p.m. Saturday.

Husky men’s hoop
The University of Washington goes to Kansas City, Mo. to play Kansas in a 6 p.m. Wednesday game on ESPN and hosts Gonzaga at 5 p.m. Sunday on the Pac-12 cable network.
Husky women’s hoop
Washington visits Boise State for a 6 p.m. game Thursday and hosts Grand Canyon for a 12 p.m. contest Sunday.
Cougar men’s hoop
Washington State University drops in on Idaho for a 7 p.m. game Wednesday and goes to the University of Texas at El Paso for a 6 p.m. contest Saturday.
Cougar women’s hoop
The Cougars host Saint Louis at 7 p.m. Monday in Pullman and Gonzaga visits at the same time Wednesday on the Pac-12 network.
