It was victory at Vashon Island for both Seattle Christian basketball teams Friday.
The Warriors blasted Vashon by a 55-23 score on the girls side before the boys posted a narrow 54-52 victory.
In other action
Also emerging victorious were both Kennedy Catholic teams that night against Mount Rainier on opposite courts.
The boys won at Mount Rainier by a 66-55 margin over the Rams and the girls scored a 43-25 win on the Kennedy court.
West Seattle, meanwhile, improved to 13-0 in Metro League play on the girls side with a 57-51 victory at Rainier Beach and the Ballard girls blasted Nathan Hale, 82-43.
The Foster girls also won, posting a 59-33 victory over Franklin Pierce.
The Highline girls were stopped by Steilacoom, 77-22, and Tyee lost to Eatonville, 60-11. Evergreen fell to Fife, 49-23.
Ballard’s boys were edged by Nathan Hale, 57-54, Friday and the Chief Sealth team took a 68-54 loss to Roosevelt.
The Foster boys were defeated by Franklin Pierce, 79-56.
